Rehovot 14-Word Sonnet Workshop - December 2017
On December 5th 2017 award-winning poet Ricky Friesem hosted and led a very successful Voices Israel workshop in Rehovot entitled “Less is More,” on the subject of writing fourteen word sonnets.
This was a new format for some and is not easy, requiring maximum control and tightness of writing.
Chaired ably by Nicholas Dunne Lynch, sixteen participants enjoyed not just the company and surroundings, the refreshments and social aspects but the chance to prepare several examples of this new versatile format.
Participants were invited to submit sonnets written at the workshop, or edited versions of them, for online publication. The online (PDF) file is available for download by clicking here.
