The Voices Israel Group of Poets

Volume 45, the 2019 Voices Israel Anthology was launched on December 1st in Netanya. After our happy experience last year at the Stage Bar Karaoke, Netanya, we chose that venue again for this year's very enjoyable event.  Nearly 30 people attended from all over Israel, many of whom read their own poems from the Anthology, and several of whom were also proxy readers for poems whose authors were not able to attend. The Stage Bar once again provided us with a light supper to go with the happy social atmosphere. A presentation was made to the Anthology's chief editor, Dina Yehuda; we warmly thanked the outgoing editorial team Wendy Dickstein, Phella Hirschson and Amiel Schotz; and warmly welcomed in the new editorial team of David Fellerman, Edit Gavriely and Yehudit Goldfarb.

 We were pleased to see at this event one or two new members and poets who are considering joining us.
